Thank you for your tremendous part in
making the 4th Annual Motorcycle
“Ride For a Cure” on June 24th such a
success! Your donation to this event is
appreciated very much. Community
support makes a difference.
Approximately 160 motorcycles
participated in the 90 mile ride and
nearly 300 people were served a pork
chop supper at the Lions Park in
Spicer. This year, a net of over
$6,800.00 was raised at the cancer
benefit ride. Because of your support
over the past four years, Ride For a
Cure has given over $28,000 to our
local American Cancer Society. Funds
raised at the “Ride For A Cure” event
are donated through the Relay For
Life event to keep the funds local and
this year our event earned a fourth
platinum corporate sponsorship award.
It is an honor to be part of an event
that is helping so many and receiving
such community support! Many local
cancer patients will benefit from these
funds. “The American Cancer Society
offers a variety of programs and
services designed to meet the unique
needs and concerns of those affected
by cancer and their caregivers.”
